Independent auditors

In compliance with the law, audits of accounts are entrusted to an external auditing company registered in Consob’s Roll of Auditors, appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting. The current auditing company is PricewaterhouseCoopers S.p.A., appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting of April 30, 2007, whose six-year mandate expires with the approval of the 2012 Financial Statements.
The financial statements of subsidiary companies are subject to audit; these are mostly carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
